About Us

Small town general contractor, building homes, shops, and greenhouses.

Alaska Greenhouse was started in 2009 and was owned by Fort Knox Construction until 2021 when we renamed the business Abolish Abortion Construction because we believe men have a duty to end child sacrifice abortion(Leviticus 20:2-5).

We are located on the Kenai Peninsula about 5mi. south of Ninilchik.  Our mode of operation has been to build the greenhouses in sets to increase efficiency, consistency, and precision of the product. Our unique gazebo style greenhouses are built of panels which bolt together and are easily assembled on site or disassembled and moved.  Two people can usually assemble the 13′ diameter decagon greenhouse in 6 hours.

I built the first decagon greenhouse for my wife in March of 2009.  I had a 24″ thermostatically controlled vent left over from a job I had contracted to do the previous year and so I sat down and started working out how I could build this greenhouse for my wife and use the vent I had left over.  After some head scratching, I started thinking of a gazebo style with panels that bolt together so I could manufacture the parts, stain them, and assemble the panels production style. This first greenhouse took one week to build and when it was done, we had planned a month-long vacation and so I put the greenhouse out on the highway with a for sale sign to see if I would get some interest while we were on vacation.  When we got back, we had several orders and we started building our first set of 6 greenhouses.  A friend of ours had a 30′ x 50′ shop, down the hill from our home, and he offered it as a place to start manufacturing and that is how we got started.  So, if you have something left over from a job and you start dreaming about how you could use it; you never know what you might come up with.

Through the summer of 2023, most of the greenhouse units were being built in Nikolaevsk Village by Larry Brown in a 26′ stretched greenhouse shop at the end of Nikolaevsk Rd.  Larry and I had worked together building and delivering these units for several years, but for the last couple years, I had been taking the orders, purchasing the materials, and scheduling the deliveries; Larry was building the panels in his shop and when the time would come up, I would do deliveries.

Larry Brown went home to be with the Lord, August 6th, 2023. He had helped us build the first group of six greenhouses in 2009 and most of the greenhouses since. He had an excellent testimony and was a wonderful faithful business partner that helped us meet most of our scheduled deliveries on time. I knew intuitively about how long it would take him to complete projects and now I am a little at a loss of how to operate without him.

Moving forward into 2024, we are looking to move assembly of the panels back into the Ninilchik area, possible back at the shop where we built the first group in 2009.
